Regardingtoitsarmybuildingandreadiness,manystudieshaveshownthatthePeople’sLiberationArmy,in2020,willformacomplete(antiaccess/areadenial)capabilities,capableenoughtoturnChinaintoagreatmilitarypowerinAsia-Pacific. ItwillhaveanimpactontheAsia-Pacificregionalstability,thecross-straitmilitaryhalance,andunderUnitedStatesre-balancestrategy.UnderChina’smilitarythreat,Taiwanmustbeinnovativeintermsofstrategicthinkingandconcept.
